We are excited to announce that Texas Volunteer Fire & Rescue Company was incorporated in 2022 and is an IRS 501c3 Public Charity. We provide educational opportunities and training for volunteer firefighters and those interested in developing their own fire and rescue skills. TXVFRco also provides mutual aid assistance to other fire and rescue organizations as requested. Texas Commission on Fire Protection now provides reciprocity for SFFMA firefighters for certain certifications. See the TCFP website for details: www.tcfp.texas.gov

Texas Volunteer Fire & Rescue Co. supports Texas youth that are interested in learning fire and rescue skills. We will have more information posted later regarding Junior Fire (12-17 years old) camps, workshops, and trainings. Junior Fire training can lead to Texas SFFMA certification at age 18.

Texas Volunteer Fire & Rescue Co., also known as TXVFR and operates the TexasVFD.org website, was organized exclusively for charitable purpose related to providing education related to fire, rescue, and emergency preparedness and to provide mutual aid and assistance to other fire, rescue, and government agencies. Texas Volunteer Fire & Rescue Co. is a Texas non-profit corporation with an IRS 501c3 (public charity) designation and was founded in 2018 and incorporated in 2022. The founding board members have experience in the volunteer fire service and teaching youth and adults. All of our instructors are either SFFMA or TCFP Instructors (Level I through Master). We focus exclusively on VOLUNTEER Firefighter training because we recognize that you are giving YOUR time. That is why most of our in-person training days are on the weekend. Contact Methods:
